Origin: At the Lyon’s music festivals, where Katie PIE developed her love for pizza and business, a family friend name “Scottie Traynor” was an infamous man engaging in all manners of debauchery, we’ll leave that to your imagination. It is common in a pizza restaurant to have “catch trays”. As teams top their pizzas, some ingredients fall into the trays. During a 90 pie hour, lots of toppings fall into this tray. At the end of the night, we would use the caught ingredients to make a tray pie! We would bring them back to camp, and our friend, nicknamed Trainwreck would always nosh the delicious food down. When brainstorming names, we named this classic supreme pie, after our good friend, the tray pie eater, Scottie Traynor aka “Trainwreck”.

Origin: Originally, this iPIE had Jamaican jerk chicken on it. It was created in collaboration with a family from Jamaica, they were food vendors at “NedFest”. After 1 day of getting to know this Jamaican family of 5- Pizza Pete and Katie PIE invited them to spend the night at their home because they were going to stay in a hotel! Our Mom got a call about what was going on, and she wasn’t very happy. This story has a happy ending though. After a rejuvenating night of sleep, this wonderful family made us cinnamon pancakes for breakfast, folded their blankets and did the dishes. We all returned to serve food at Ned Fest, and together, Katie PIE and Jamaican Jerk Robert created the “Bob-Kate” a tropical delight.
